Our Youth group has activities and learning opportunities for kids ages 5-18. The 7-12 grades are focussing this year on service. If you know of a need that they can fulfill, please let us know! The youth has had the opportunity to participate in the "Kids Helping Kids" program at the Children's Museum, Jr. High Journey, ICYC, Winter Youth Retreat at Hanging Rock Christian Assembly, delivering food to needy families, making blankets for the local nursing homes, Church camp, and a year end trip that they earn the right to attend.

We just returned from Junior High Journey - Inside Out - What a blast!
There was a speaker - Matt Proctor, an illusionist Danny Ray and our favorite Greg Frazee. It was a great experience for the kids to develop their relationship with God and allow them to form better personal realtionships.

Our youth worked very hard to write a grant from the Boone County Youth As Resources to redo the upstairs Sunday School rooms to allow more room in the fellowship hall and storm shelter. Sunday, May 17th, they were awarded a check for the full amount of their request to acomplish this. They will be working very hard this summer at a lock - in to do the construction and organization. Keep checking back for the progress they are making. Thank you for all of your support.
We will be working on this project Friday July 31 and Saturday August 1st. It will be a great learning experience for all.
Thanks for all of the hard work. We had 15 youth show up to help! It really shows how much you care about the church and making your space better for the community. We still have a lot to acomplish, but we are very proud of you!
ICYC is November 19-21 2010 and we have 12 kids attending! I am so excited to see them grow in this wonderful experience. Please ask them about their experience - they would love to share!
